Probably picking up a 350z today.
Anyways yesterday I went to the dealership and they had a White 350z baseline listed at like 29,500 or something like that it had the side airbags aero, all the stupid cargo stuff, floor mats and trunk mats, I got them down to 26,750. I'm just curious if you guys think it's a good price. I almost signed the papers last night, but I wanted to sleep on it. I'm 21, my first NEW car, I have no credit and I'm putting 0 down so I got like 8.99% I believe, The cost isn't that big of a deal though, I make good money 2 weeks of work I pay for the car + insurance + gas for the entire month. Anyways, should I get it?
if u got a good paying job

with 0 down, insurance and gas at least 1000 a month
its a pretty good price
my friend bought his 06' for 28,000 out the door (base)

$26,750 seems pretty good for a new Base.
Since you're financing anyway, why not check out a used 05 or something? You can get a nicer trim level, killer audio system, wheels, etc.. and still save several grand.

Actually, you can get it for even less than that right now...
I've been shopping Z's for a few months and decided to wait for the 07 since it's getting more hp. Anyways, I'm looking at MT Enthusiast Coupes and keep getting offers from dealers in my inbox all the time. 2 are worth mentioning...
06 MT CS Enthusiast Coupe for 27,205 +tax and license
06 MT Interlagos Enthusiast Coupe for 27,005 +tax and license
Then, about a week ago, I got a follow up email from dude with the Silver Z and it said there was a new rebate from Nissan, blah blah blah... since his offers already had some incentives factored in, I sent back... so how much cheaper than your last offer would that Silver Z be now?
He said 26,005 +tax and license...
It sounded like a hell of a deal, but I'm set on Black and the new engine with the dual intakes... even if it is a few thousand more.
Something to consider also... Base models don't have LSD... meaning if you punch it, it's going to lay down one strip of rubber instead of two. Aftermarket LSD's run approx 2g's... so it would be worth it to go factory instead of adding later. (Just something to consider)

Consider a used Z also. You will save some cash and won't take the new car "sting". Also you'll save on the stupid "documentation fees" dealerships charge. When you get a used car from a private seller you just pay taxes, and if you have a license plate already, just pay $4.50 at the local BMV to transfer your plates to your car. Much cheaper than the $300 dealerships charge to take care of that for you!

wait, if you have no credit, wouldn't the dealership require a co-signer?
 @ ZERO down an 8.99% interest
you're financing the interest and tax...you're gonna end up paying too much in the end. you're gonna owe more on it than its worth in 3 years...

Even if you can handle $1000+ per month for your bill, I still wouldn't buy
the Z if I were you. I once were in same situation like you back in '04.
I really wanted Z but I had nothing to put down down payment.. yeah,
I could afford the Z with no problem but I told myself I will drive my beater Kia until I settle down and every time I saw Zs drove by, I drooled and found myself drive one someday.
I bought '06 Z this year and the car payment and insurance together is less than $400.
Just think, you will regret what you will be paying later on after 2,3 years especially with that high interest rate..
