Pics of the 350Z converible on the road.....
I don't frequent this board, so this will likely be my first and only post to this board.
These were taken earlier this afternoon in Southern California in the city of Palos Verdes Estates.
Notice the black tape over the logos in this pic...."no no, this isn't a Z"

Much better pic:

Lousy pic:

I didn't want to annoy the drivers...as it was I was completely stopped in the road just behind them (in their blind spot
) in the 2nd pic , so those are the only pics I got. ENJOY!!!!!

In the words of Jonah Jamison:
"GREAT JOB PARKER"
(for the comic impaired he was Peter Parkers (aka Spiderman) Boss)
In other words: Very great detective work I love the shots and I'm sure others will as well. Wish we could have gotten a pic of the hottie? driving though......(OH BEHAVE)

looks great, except for that seam they have on the side right behind the door handle... sticks out IMO.
but it also answers the question of if the convertable will be limited to the uppermodels, unless thats a touring automatic.

Call me crazy, but I'm not really liking this thing. Personally I think the roof lines on the Z are a major appeal. A true convertible or roadster should be built from the ground up, designed from the boards to be such. Cosmetically, it LOOKS to me like they cut the top off and called it a roadster, resulting in the obvious seams in panels and unfinished look. I'm sure it will be popular, and I'm sure it will sell, but I'll be keeping the coupe.

Thanks for the pics, but its not really my thing.
A T-top would have been way sexier.
Can someone tell me why I always see the numbers 562 on the plates? I'm not from the U.S so I have no idea.

Besides, why else would the hard top have that whacky panel behind the seats that is not the cross brace?

As for me, I can't make a final call till I see the car with the roof up. It would also be nice to know if there will be a removable hard top option like with the miata or the Z3.
