i driven in complete down pours with my kdw-2's. i have yet to get the tires loose at all during these down pours. driven at above speed limits in the rain with no signs of hydro planing. not saying they are saviors in the rain but they seem to do a great job. plus, i have yet to read anything good about nitto's other then they are very inexpensive at times. just making a turn at normal speeds and he looses the rear end? his tires must have been a big reason for this.

 

same thing happened to me in the rain only 20 miles after i had put on my nittos and wheels on my base. lost the rear then gained control, then just did a 180 all of a sudden.

Seems to me that if you are driving so aggressively in the rain where the tires make a difference, if you spin out it's not the tires fault.

It's the drivers fault. A definition of intelligence is the ability to learn from your experience.
