of course twin turbo is better, its like asking if two hands are better than one

not neccessarily. I would rather have a GT28r turbo than a GT2871r turbo bc why? B/c bigger doesnt mean better, It takes longer for a 2871 to spool. In the same case, i also kinda agree with him b/c a twin would take longer to spool and is more expensive and has a greater risk of something going wrong. Now i can be wrong but thats what i beleive.

Ed, why are you contradicting yourself. Thought you said you don't buy used. Didn't know they make brand new TT Supra's!

Twins spool quickly because they're two relatively small turboes. Also since you're replacing everything why don't you just pick up an '03? I'm sure most of the bugs have been worked out. Besides I'll paint t yellow for what you save.
