Default Dealer trying to screw me again

Took my car in to have the window oil streaks repaired under warranty. They took it in and gave it back to me half a day later. The streaks were fixed on one window only, and then they returned! Not only that, but the technician screwed up the outer trim on my door so that now it's all flimsy. I think he cracked something. I brought the car back and their response was that its no longer under warranty! Apparently, they didn't realize this a few days ago? Alright, so now they've:

- wasted half a day of my time
- fixed absolutely nothing
- screwed up the trim on my door
- are asking for $300++ to fix the problem

All this for a problem that THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of their cars are experiencing! Its THEIR damn fault! And now I no longer have to waste my time on it but pay for it as well? So in essence:

1. THEY BREAK IT
2. I SPEND TIME ON IT
3. I SPEND MONEY ON IT
4. THEY PROFIT

I'm not gonna take this. I'm just not. **** them. But what can I do? Threaten? Sue?

I hate the dealer. I have the same streaks (about 1 inch thick on each window). Its been there since I bought the car. Already replace one window motor on the passenger side. Just do all the work yourself or take it to someone who gives a sh*t about their work. That's what I do now. the dealer techs are clowns.....most of them anyway.

Hmmmm call Nissan USA (that 1-800 # )

I have those streaks too and I assume they've been there since the car was new in 2003. Won't the grease soon run out??

Their is a thread here if you search showing you the cause and how to fix it. I saw it then tried and no more streaks. You have to pull off your panel and their is a piece of "cloth" inside your window if you get some needle nose plyer's you can pull it out.

A beer bottle, a good rag, some gasoline, and a lighter (cocktails anyone?). Seriously though, take it up to their management, and threaten to sue, but if it doesn't get you anywhere, follow through with it. It will be cheaper for them to settle than to take it to court.

Window streaks are a minor annoyance. Often the cure is worse than the disease.
