^Wow, I was almost sure it was the same dude. That's not to rule out a connection though or possibly some internet hocus-pocus.

Yup !

(if you assume 100% volumetric efficiency)

That's the same number I came up with. Each cylinder only performs an intake stroke every other crank rotation, so you can effectively either divide RPM or displacement by 2, then multiple RPM by displacement. 3.5L x (5000/2) = 8750

The conversion to CFM: 8750 LPM = 309 CFM.

You know,
I kinda feel bad for the guy selling this product. Obviously, he's extremely misinformed. However, I believe he truly believes this product works. He heard some crazy intake sounds and was like "eureka, this thing is the bomb"
On the brightside, at least he was ethical enough, or maybe at least genuinely naive enough to post a link about this thread in his auction.
Extremely ignorant, and maybe a little immature, yes.
Malicious? Maybe not so much.

Actually, he would have been like "akerue", because the thing was just a vaccuum in reverse.

Some people just don't like to be confused with the facts.

ha! and the poor sucker paid $14 for shipping too. it's probably shipped in an oversized bubble envelope.

the best is "A hand draw map/instruction on how to install it." I'd love to see that
