Have much respect DV (you make me laugh with your picture responses)! Not to argue, but from my calcs I just paid ~ 92.38% of MSRP (saving $2,949 off MSRP). Multiply .9238*38715 = 35764.9 (almost $35,766). Thanks for the comment, I was very fortunate. But, the margin between invoice and MSRP is not that much - relative to the amount of the car. (sorry for the math - too much attention to detail ex-engineer here!)

Arithmetic is not my strong point.

Thanks for the scans, but I have got to wonder: who the hell would lie about what they paid?

For many people, car dickering is a competitive sport.

Im gonna have him start the paperwork.
Before you guys say anything about the color, MB was my original choice, but I kinda gained an appreciation for the IF after looking at it for a while. Then I started to want it because its not as common a color. He told me he cant seem to locate a manual IF enthusiast. So I will be more than happy with a MB. OMG OMG OMG I hope hes serious.
At this point, I'd wait for winter to be over and buy the 07'. If you are worried about the price, then you should be REALLY worried the depreciation hit of 06' to 07', not even factoring the off-the-lot beating you'll take.

good point, although if you're considering a ZR, convertibles often can be had for really good deals in the winter. sometimes they're hard to move in areas that actually get cold in the winter.

I doubt if member do. They just post numbers in a way that has little or no value to prospective buyers. On the other hand look at ZPHILE: MSRP and what he paid. Simple and informative.
