Default Slightly more hesitation

I've noticed slightly more hesitation when flooring my '07 automatic compared to my '03. Anyone else notice this?

I went for a redline roadster touring this time and get much more attention compared to my silver '03 enthusiast coupe.

Maybe because it has less torque compared to the 03, but you will have more pull in the higher rpms.

Finally got my car last night from the dealer and put it on the dyno. Sharif from Forged will be positing the numbers this week end.

Think he stated it to answer the other guys question about hesitation in his AUTO roadster. Either way, yes for those who did not know, the roadster is heavier .

Just put a deposit on my 2007 Daytona Blue. Being flatbeded and picked up this saturady. Trading in my 2006 enthusiast for 07 enth!! Cant wait for the new motor.

Dealer is swapping out my nismo exhaust back on the 07 and I have some eibach prolines and 25mm spacers to put on the car the same day

Sweet! Same story here... trading my 06 Daytone Blue GT for an 07 Redline GT.

I'll miss the Daytona blue. I got so many compliments and thumbs-up from the ladies (just crossing in the crosswalk in front of me!) with this car. I had originally wanted redline anyway though and after driving an 07 for a few hours, I was hooked.

Can't wait the 2 weeks for the new one to arrive. Like a kid waiting for Christmas. What to do? I'll just concentrate on work to make the time go by faster.

lol! We are in the idiot's club!

Yeah, I'd like to sink some money into the car, but was never satisfied with the VQ-DE engine, I have not had confidence in it. So for me, it's worth it. I'll prolly never go FI (Thanks california CARB B.S.), just built-motor. I may go all-motor NA-300HP (to wheels) at some point if the aftermarket will support it. I think the HR is a better base to build on, but that is unproven.

Obviously if you dump money into the VQ-DE, you can have a nice engine built.

I'll like:
- not having such a tired feeling, buzzy engine at high-RPM (like VQ-DE; IMO)
- not having an engine that pings at low-RPM and detonates at 4500 RPM.
- not having a dipstick that is more convoluted and curved than lombard St in SF. (worth the trade alone!)
- not having a car that I feel is a ticking oil-burning time-bomb with the rev-up engine and having any mods I might do blamed for oil consumption.
- having factory NAV this time around.
- having the best factory engine available in the z33

I'll not like:
- Losing my shirt on a trade....
- The hump.... my lovely hoodie hump.... check it out!
- Missing my chance to buy a z34(?). I'll not be trading this in for a z34 no matter what.
- not having 3.7 liter vvel, but I'd like to go 3.8l with aftermarket build when the warranty runs out.
- EDIT: Not having individual tire pressure readout

Eeerrr... I guess I'm joining this club too...

I used to own a '06 Base MB, now got a '07 Enthusiast DB... I'm loving every moment of it.

It was a hard choice between SMB and DB but my MB was a pain in the @ss to keep clean and every car wash i see new swirl marks pops out from nowhere. No doubt DB was a better choice for me and besides when DB is dirty, which will be very often, it turns into SMB...well sorta

haha I love all the bandwagon jumpers, if I recall correctly most of these people were the ones saying I don't like the hood and blah blah blah!

Now that the feel the power in this motor, it is irresistible!

Peace!

Not me. I loved the hood the first time I saw it! I could never understand all the crying about it in other posts.

Mine won't be stock for long. I already installed a Perrin shorty antenna– that should be good for at least 5whp!! LOL
