I love my Z...It has been great 2 years with the car. But I have been thinking about getting a Vette for a long time.....I know, I know...it's "Domestic" as some of you may say.. but Vette has been one of my favorate cars and I have to own once in my life.

Well that time is now. My real target is to get Skyline when they come to US and it will be another 2-3 years before I can get it anyway. So in the meantime, I have decided to get a vette.

Traded my Z for C5 Z06. For those of you who hates Vette and never driven one, I strongly recommend a test drive. You won't be disappointed.

It's been a pleasure being part of Z family...Please no flames....who knows, we'll meet again in GT-R forum...

 

I test drove one....was disapointed, but good luck with your new ride, test drove an '06 Porsche 911 gt3 last saturday....now that was a thrill, I'm sold and hopefully that will be my second european car. Congrats on your new ride

 

sweeettt.. good luck with the vette.. I also have the same urge. I especially like the classic body design. Maybe when I'm entering my mid-life crisis I will own one. For now, I'm enjoying the Z.

Vette is good. Interior is the same as my truck

Congrats on the ZO6 C5 definetly a step up from the Z. Actually, the vette is the only domestic are I would get but only the zo6, love the lines of the c6 and zo6. post some pics.

good car, damn fast accelleration , u'll love the whistling it makes right behind ur ears when u give it hell. my dad has a z06, man o man, thats all i can say.

 

Congrats. At least it is a step up. I got sick of the "trading in my Z for an STI or Evo" threads. You can now "feel the POWER of the Dark Side".

 

Yet I barely see any red vettes here in socal

nice! i was considering the c5 before purchasing the z... but after reading the problems found on the vette forums.. i stayed away. i'm sure u'rs is in a great condition and you have nothing to worry about. have fun with the ls6
