420-HP Naturally Aspirated 3.5L VQ!!!
In the latest issue of Car and Driver (Dec 2006), on page 41, there is a blurb about a new Renault concept car called the Nepta. Car and Driver states: "The engine powering the concept is a high-revving, Naturally Aspirated 420-hp version of Nissan's 3.5-liter V6.
WHAT!?! 420-hp with no turbo or supercharger? Sorry I dont have any more info than this, but I about fell out of my chair when I read it. Could this be a possible hint at the powerplant in the upcoming new Z and G35 coupe?

yea i brought this to light a month or so ago in a discussion that this is could be the basis for the GT-R engine.
although the displacement will probably change. i would say this is the groundwork for the engine
