last night here in stuart florida it was around 42 degrees at 1:00 last night. i was leaving walmart with 4 bags of groceries.i was agrivated cause my roomies didnt go when i asked them. i poped my hatch from about 20 ft away and my mind was elseware. i open the hatch w my left hand, leaned into the hatch and slung the bags in w my right. my phone rang as i was doing this so i drew my attention to it. Bam! i got creamed on the back of the head by my hatch! i flipped my $h!t thinking some one was behind me! i got the latch near square on the back of my head! why is the hatch doing this! it didnt do it this morningwhen it was just as cold out!?!?!?!?!
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA... sorry, but that was funny as hell.. stock hatch shocks are very weak. I have an aftermarket wing and I have to hold it with my head, while I put stuff in the trunk.
My hatch is also suddenly slamming shut down here in the Fort Lauderdale area also! Noticed it during grocery loading/unloading this morning. Must be related to the sudden temperature drop.
