Arrow Best Motoring 350Z Review/Track Test.

Anyone here seen the Best Motoring Volume 6 DVD? It has ALOT of info on the 350Z. I was just curious as to if the 350Z owners feel the Best Motoring Review/Track Test is accurate?

Some of the drivers stated that the 350Z was a bit heavy and understeered a good bit, others stated it was difficult to drift the 350Z. Overall though, I got the feeling everyone liked the car alot, as it was able to outrun a new M3, Boxster, and S2000 (although S2000 was closing in on the turns).

The S2000 catching it in the turns is to be expected. S2000s can catch plenty of cars up to and over $100k in the turns!

I have yet to see it, it's hard to find, heard plenty about it though.

are you saying that the S2000 is ACTUALLY faster through the corners OR (this is a BIG "OR") is it "closing"

I am an AVID F1 racing fan, you need to realize the car behind will ALWAYS "close in on" the front runner in a corner. Here is why-if they are going 180 MPH the GAP of even 1 sec in pretty large, when you SLOW up for a corner, and are going 50 MPH, the distance is MUCH MUCH closer, EVEN though the 1 second interval is STILL MAINTAINED. It gives an illusion that the trial car is gaining on the front car, yet as they get back up to speed the gap increases again.

ALSO, the following car will be braking as the lead car is at the APEX, so the following car is actually going faster, but slowing down for the up coming Apex. again, as they get back on the throttle and on the straight, the gap increases again (even with EQUAL cars, running EQUAL track times)

The S2000 was simply faster through the turns. Able to enter and exit the turn at a faster speed than the 350Z. It is very obvious in the Track test. It was a fairly close race between these two.

If you want the 350Z DVD, you can order it here. It is a Subaru website, but that doesn't matter, as they have good prices and quick service.
