Question How many people would be interested in a Blue 1:18 scale 350Z?

There is another manufacturer of diecast models, other than Hotwheels, and AutoArt that may be releasing the 350Z in silver and Blue. The quality is much better than the Hotwheels and yes the rear hatch opens, but not as detailed as the AutoArt. The good news is, is that it may cost as low as $30 or less. I have to get more info on this, but the release may not be until late April. Just wanted to get a headcount of those that may be interested. Sorry no pics yet and I don't know if it is going to be Daytona Blue or not.

I am interested in the DB. The Auto-art 1/18 scale is really nice, lots of details. Does it also come in 1/24 in DB?

I'd be interested if it had the Track model wheels and spoiler. That would distinguish it from the other two already released. Blue would be my color preference if there was a choice.

The new 1/18 Z is gonna be a Maisto. It was announced at the New York Toy/Hobby Show. Maisto has been getting really good in the last year or so. It should be a great model with alot of colors offered.

Here's some info i dug up...

MAISTO MAI 31982 Scale : 1/24
Make : NISSAN Model : 350Z Model Year : 2003

MAI 31982B Colour : BLACK Expected arrival 2003-03

MAI 31982BL Colour : BLUE Expected arrival 2003-03

MAI 31982C Colour : COPPER Expected arrival 2003-03

MAI 31982O Colour : ORANGE Expected arrival 2003-03

MAI 31982S Colour : SILVER Expected arrival 2003-03
Disabled

I'm interested in what that "copper" color will look like compared to "orange". I personally don't like the look of Maisto models. The wheels look really cheap.

The original post indicated 1/18th scale yet this last post indicates 1/24th. Is another 1/18th scale version on the way?

The one I am speaking of is a 1:18 scale. I haven't heard of this Maisto model.

I have about 30 of them 1:18 scale models.

They are great for the price @ only $10 bucks each.

Maisto makes great cars for the money. But if you can afford it, the AutoArts are really really nice. Another company that seems to be fogotten in this thread is Kyosho. While Kyosho doesn't make 350Z, they make classic Datsuns from the 70s, and alot of Jap cars from the 90s. Lots of German stuff too, old and new.

that would be tight! i mean, the DB is one of the most popular colors out there for the track edition, i dont understand why they didnt release it in the first place..

i was thinking about painting my Hotwheels version blue...
