Question Help please....extra part found

See this little interior clip? Where does it go other than holding in place the plastic battery cover and the brake fluid cover under the hood?

The reason I ask is because, while I was out for a drive this afternoon my daughter found it laying in the driveway and I can't find where it should go. I'm thinking one might have dropped in the engine bay during production and it just now fell out?

Help please!

Those clips are used all over. They hold the plastic in the wheel wells, hold the front bumper on, and the plastic under the front of the car.
Good luck finding where it belongs.

These are different than the ones holding the front bumper and wheel wells together. These have an extending center with an outer ring.

I think that's the one holding the transmission to the engine.

being that the point is going right (instead of left) that particular clip holds the right rear tire on. If it was pointing the other direction it would have been for the left rear tire.

but that would only apply to clips manufactured here in the US. If that is a japanese clip then everything would then move up to the front tires.

Does that clip have any japanese markings on it?

That looks like the clip that goes to the plastic tray under the engine. That plastic tray is held by 10 bolts and a clip like that in the front middle. The first time I changed my oil, I removed my plastic tray and it took me a while to figure out how to remove that clip.

Michael.

hahaha

looks just the same as everyother clip Ive seen, for the bumper, wheel well, skid plate. ect. they are all identical, just as nearly every nut on the car is 10mm.

if nothing else fell off with it, you should be ok, Id check the skid plate tho, thatd be the most likely, and maybe a wheel well.

Here's a pic of the clip extended. This clip is not like the ones in the wheel well, skid plate, and bumper....the only place I could find where these type of clips are used is where the plastic cover to the battery and brake fluid fasten (all of those were present though).

the clips holding everything else in are identical to those on the battery cover, Im positive, cause I just took off those in the battery cover, as well as the skid plate, bumper, and wheel well. and I saw nothing different between them....

maybe I just didnt notice tho... or I might be goin crazy, always a possibility.

Check the plastic under the hatch near the tail lights. The first time I washed my car and was wiping the plastic off with a towel something that looked like that just popped right out. It took me a while to find where it came from, but I knew it was around the hatch.

If I'm not mistaken, that clip holds the skipinflip switch in place on the crystalized argonaut camber.

Default That one is a little bigger than the others.

That is the clip that holds the steering assembly together. Please don't make any fast turns before replacing it.

It's from the flux capacitor. Check the voltage. I bet it's down to less than 3.2 gigawatts.
