Hey, do you guys realize...
That it's been nearly 3 months since anyone started up an AT vs. MT thread?
I'd say that's cause for some celebrating.....

I live in NYC area and traffic is HORRIBLE, but I still drive a stick. It's fine. Driving in traffic is always annoying, an AT does not change that.
You know, I can see someone justifying an auto if it's just as fast as the stick (VERY few automatics come close to the manuals, BMW z4 si is one, and obviously 911 turbo) and the same amount of power.
But the 18, soon to be 26hp advantage over the AT makes buying an AT a questionable decision to say the least.
This is not a sunday cruiser. This is a japanese muscular beast. Don't take away from what its underlying purpose and inspiration is, unless you really have to...like your left leg was blown off in the war.
Bottom line: How can you justify throwing away power and speed in car made for power and speed?
I'm gonna get flamed.

where in the world did you get this info? The 06 auto still has the original motor the 06 manual has the rev up motor(With it's oil loss issues) But the 07 is getting the same motor for auto and manual correct?
Peace!
