seat belt chokes me
And it's beginning to drive me nuts. The shoulder cuts right into my neck and is extremely annoying. I honestly try to hook the belt to go "under" my right breast to keep it from cutting into my neck but this is not good.
Anyone have any suggestions for some sort of clips to change the angle of the belt or something? I'd rather not get a big stupid furry thing for the belt, but it seems it might be my last resort.
Why oh why didn't they put a thingy in so you could lower the shoulder belt on left hand side?!
Hep!

It gets me, too! I haven't found anything yet to hold it back, either. For now, I've been moving it past my shoulder while I drive, but it still slips back and starts grabbing at my neck every once in a while.
Let me know if you figure anything out that works!

OK, ladies. It goes around your hips and not your neck.
Sorry, coudn't resist. Please no flames. I was only kidding. Really, only joking. OK, now I'm a gonner.
Oh, I forgot to tell you. My screen name is "walc" if you feel you need to flame me.
Cheers,

Bad Wayne! Fix! =)
You'll notice we have no problem with the lap portion of the belt. I don't want put the shoulder portion under my left arm or behind me altogether - I've seen too many car accidents in which the shoulder belt saved the person's life.
But does that mean I have to fight it with all the time I should be enjoying the drive?

Hopefully, I've found an answer:

Going to buy one of each variety and try them (well, that and the picture and directions don't really point one or the other being better). Will report findings. =)

My mom complained about the same thing when she drove it. Honestly I think the car was built for larger people.
I'm 6'3", my ma is 5'3" or so. She loved the car, but couldn't believe there was no height adjustment (either seatbelt or seat). There's another lady in the Seattle area who is only 5' or so, and she actually sits on a pillow to drive it around, and that seemed to help.

You can buy an adjustable clasp, made for kids and small adults, that closes the lap and shoulder belt together closer. With this, you can make it comfortable. You should be able to buy one almost anywhere, Wal-Mart, etc.

We have a seat belt extender from Nissan that is made for the 350Z. It adds about 4" to the lap area and allows the shoulder strap to slide over as well. We sell it for $22.61 and have one available today. If you are interested, ask for part number 86848-350Z.

What's odd is that I'm neither short nor petite: I'm 5'10", Amazonian type woman. But that darn seatbelt bites into my neck.
Steve from CourtesyParts - wow...22 bucks? Why then are the other supposedly similiar items I can find on the internet 5 and 4 bucks? I'm leary of plunking down 22 when I'm not even sure it's going to do what I want.

I don't think the other products are similar. We added an image of the product at our website. Please see what you are getting.

Steve,
I see what you mean - completely different product. Thanks for the image and the explanation.
Please take no offense, but there's no way I would use that - it's icky looking and looks clumsy. I know you didn't design it, but it still leaves me with no solution. =P
Oh well - seat belt is like the only thing in the whole car that annoys me.
