Default Will you let you best friend borrow your Z

One of my good friend likes to borrow my Z and show it off to his friends and co-workers. He even tell them that it's his Z. Everybody is so impressed so far. What do you think? Go ahead and flame on. As usual, my flame suit is always off.

I've always considered my friends to be more important than any car.

I'll even lend them my 63 Impala when they just want to show off a bit. It makes them happy and therefore it makes me happy.

I have one friend i would let drive my car. All the sh it he has done for me, I could care less. I know he would only ask if he really needed it..to take it just to show off, just don't think that's a good idea.

no f*ckin way I'd let somebody take my car.

I am resistant to even letting my brother drive it with me in the passenger seat.

Not a chance in hell somebody's taking away MY z.

Yes. I love my car but I trust my friends. There's always that one friend that yo just wouldn't trust, though...

I'm a bastard, i only let my brother and my dad drive my Z. I got one friend who is itching to drive my car, just to add it to his "list" of cars he's drove... too bad he won't be driving mine.

No. The only person I would let borrow it is my brother. And maybe my dad. I only have 2 friends that I would let behind the wheel, and only if I was also in the car with them.

i guess it depends. if your Z is stock and has insurance then yeah man what's the harm in that?? the only thing i'd like to say about it being negative is that ... man, most of the bad **** happens when you're showing off. Everyone i know that wrecks their street bikes and stuff was showing off. (or it wasn't their fault at all) Either case would be bad for your Z.
on the same token, my friend used to have a chevy silverado that he put an escalade front end on and had like 22" giovanni rims anda sound system with custom paint. He never felt like driving so he'd always let us drive. Whoever was driving would feel like the biggest pimp and pretend it was there truck. The girls would hit on you, and my friend would be like "NO ITS MY TRUCK" and it just made him look like a deuche. If you are using your car for pride, that might be something you need to get over. If he gets his jollies off by driving your car, then you are being a good friend and letting him take it for a spin.

Oh i let a friend borrow my old honda accord and it was a very unique car and had a badass sound system. The cops thought it was stolen because they called the school and i was at school and my friend was skipping school in it. LAter that day when i got my car back, I was driving and i saw a cop following me. A few minutes later i had 5 cop cars pull me over and make me get out of the car at gunpoint. It was a little drastic. ok i'm rambling. Have a nice day, be cool... weigh the pros and cons of someone drivng your car and then make your choice.

Btw i let people drive my car before, but now that it's boosted i don't think i'd feel comfortable letting ANYONE drive it.

letting someone borrow my vehicles is like letting someone f*ck my wife....not gonna happen. If it does, I better not catch you. lol

I get nervous when the car wash guys drive my sh*t around the building as it goes through the different stages of hand wash. I'd bite my nails off if a friend borrowed it. Most of them have a lead foot.

Borrow? Depends on how close they are to me, and in most cases I trust them enough. Tell everyone it's theirs? Ummmmm, kinda inapproriate.

i guess it all depends on how much trust you have in them.. i have a few friends that i would let drive any of my vehicles, because they respect me enough that they would be extra careful with it, and most have cars of their own that are quite nice and they feel the same towards me.. plus they all know if they mess up any of my vehicles, ill hurt them.. haha

I would and do. All of my good friends are good drivers and they all own good cars. One has a WRX, one has a 300ZX TT, and one has an RX7 TT. I've even let my future son-in-law borrow my car, and he has a riced up RSX. We have all switched up and driven each other's cars.

If it helps them get laid...sure why not..as long as they don't do it in the car or abuse my car in anyway.

i've heard way too many stories about people lending their car to someone and they crash it...plus, most people aren't used to driving a car this low to the ground on driveways and speedbumps...i just think you're asking for trouble by lending your car to someone

I would if it was necessary or an emergency but otherwise there is no reason they would need to borrow my car.
