-If you want a good all around decent looking car that has some performance potential and no one will hate on it, get the 350z cause it doesnt do anything wrong.
-If you want a decent all around car that will cause a little controversy but has a bunch of performance potential get the STI.
-and if you want a decent all around car that will cause a crap load of controversy handles insane and has a $hit load of performance potential. Do what I did and get a evo

We get hated on ALL the time. Well not to our faces, but people hate on the downlow and on forums.
I don't see much controversy with EVO's. Some people just like to brush off the performance potential because they look like a modified base Lancer.
Nice Evo btw.

Is it actually humanly possible to ignore the looks of the STI?
Me doesn't think so.
Z > STI in looks and overall performance.
I would only consider the STI if I wanted a quick car and I had to drive in the snow year round.

lol what I think is funny is that when I looked at the z my first thought when I walked up to the car was "this car looks decent nothing special but has lots of potential" opened the door expecting some refinement but was greated with plain jane looks. Granted the quality is decent but as far as looks go there is a ton of thing on the road for less money that look better inside.
Threads like this suck. You got people talking about X car like they used to own one, but never even sat in one. They *THINK* they know what they're talking about, and people actually believe the crap that's coming out of their mouths.
Whoever said that th STi/STI having to run 16psi to make power as a bad thing is an IDIOT. Of course it's gonna need more boost... it runs a lower compression ratio. The higher that is, the less boost you need to (and can safely) run.
Ah **** it... no point starting in this thread...

Also I would like to see the all around performance numbers that say the 350z is better cause that is a very bold statement. Your opinion might be that the z looks better but when you talk numbers its a fact that the sti is superior in MOST ways.
Fact #2: The Z is a better all around performer. The STI will take the hole shot (only becuase of 4wd) and will lose pace soon after. On the top end...the Z will walk the STI.
Fact #3: You have no idea what you are talking about.
Almost forgot:
Fact #4: You have provided zero facts to support your opinion, but you keep asking others where their facts are? Where are your facts??????

STI stock traps 105-106mph in the 1/4
350z is under 100mph and almost a full second slower so when the sti "looses pace soon after" wouldnt come untill when? Maybe 130mph and then get passed at around 150mph? Please considering that the sti and z are limited to 155 you would be very lucky IF you could ever catch the sti let alone pass it.
stock sti's pull between .96 and .98 lateral G's
350z between .89 and .91
sti 700ft slalom's 69-71mph
350z 700ft slalom 66-68mph
Now if you dont believe me you can go to sport compact car, motor trend, car and driver, car test, edmunds, automotiveforums, ect and do your own homework kid, I know what Im talking about and dont need to waist anymore of my time proving you wrong.
