350z to FX35
well guys, it finally happened. i had to upgrade my Z to something suv-like or an actual SUV. my nissan dealership had this really nice silver infiniti FX35 and they made me a deal i could not refuse. they have always taken care of me and the owner loves me to death haha!
i have 2 kids and 1 on the way and it is time to get something that will help. i had a great time driving my Z and i hope to own another one later on down the road. im happy with the FX35 because it still has the soul of my 350z in it. the exhaust sounds just like my stock Z but a tiny bit louder. i did some homework and i found some aftermarket exhausts i can put on it. i know the engine is the same as our Z but i wonder if i can use some of the aftermarket parts like intakes and what not? i am going to climb under my FX35 and see how the exhaust mounts up. it looks exactly like the Z. it even uses a y-pipe from what i saw online. this is going to be pretty fun!
take care guys! i will be lurking around on here!

i did some homework and i can pretty much use any Z mod on this engine. seeing it is the same thing, i should be able to! the exhaust setup is practically the same. i love the AWD and 3.5L engine all in one. i almost get the same gas mileage in this compared to my Z!
