Need advice on this ticket
I know this isnt the right forum but im kind of pissed at this...
I was pulled over a few minutes ago and the cop said i made an unsafe lane change. He gave me a damn ticket to go get my exhaust checked out. But when he asked me to turn my car on so he could hear the exhaust, it sounded like a normal car. I have helix tp w/nismo exhaust. Anyone know how the test are done at the dmv bc i have 5 days. I live in Delaware. my car really does sound stock until about 2K rpm. please just give me some advice if any of you have experienced this...thanks!

if they slide a mirror under the car you are screwed, and if you make a deal with the DA to get off the Cat removal charge the shop that did the work will be screwed more.

Switch them out ASAP. they do both a mechanical and physical inspection. While I have not been through a test myself, i do know that either of them will fail you, especially on such a new car. You will easily get popped in the visual as they look under your car and the test pipes will be quite visible.
