Default two and a half foot pole through my bumper

so i come out of the store this morning and look down admiring my Z i have had for 6 weeks and to my surprise there is a large pole sticking out of my bumper. now it looks like someone shot my car.

opinion: get a CF lip or fix the whole bumper.

Pics:
The pole

The pole closer

how the hell did that get stuck in your bumper? I would just get a lip, that is a small hole and isnt hurting much.

First StewartZ gets his spoiler jacked and now this. You are both from West right?

edit: got you confused with the other kid that just joined that goes to West...you are 24 or something i think. My bad...anywho, i'm from the same area and it seems the Z has some bad luck around here lately, i might just leave it in the garage till next year.

I think it probably got kicked up on the road and you just noticed it. Just un-lucky i guess. Something you probably didn't even notice to be able to avoid it.

Very strange. It looks like the shaft of an arrow. Were you attacked by Indians?

Weird. You can always just have the hole fixed.

I wouldn't even buy a new lip (unless you are just looking for an excuse). I would just repair the hole.

wonder how much that would be. after the patch would the whole bumper need to be painted?

that pic reminds me of those metal rods the older cars used to have sticking out towards the side, that tells you when you are too close to the curb.

it doesnt look too bad. i would probably just suggest putting black touchup paint over the chip if anything. also since your car is black, it will be less noticeable.

personally, i would just leave it as is. or use that as an excuse to get a body kit.

Freaky.
You might have hit it while driving, considering the fact that it happened to the front of the car. Get one of those carbon lips to cover it.

I say get a new lip because if you drive through a puddle with that hole, ur increasing the possibility that ur car will sink.
