What I've noticed so far.
I spent most of my time driving my Z during the last 3 days, which i've had for 4 days now, and I've noticed several abnormal phenomenon. First of all, I've came to notice a lot of driver keep more than adequate of a distance from my rear bumpers at redlights, usually a carlength. Another weird thing is I'm driving without any plate since I got another 30 days until I have to register, there were two occasions in which a cop was driving behind me and neither one of them did anything yet I got pulled over 2 times in a day in my civic for a cracked tail lights? Is my rear that scary?
The chances of a Z owner not having insurance are lower than that of a civic owner. Cops (at least me), usually won't bother too much with a car unless we can be fairly certain to get more out of the stop.
I might stop ya for a cracked taillight, but usually only if I feel something else is going on.

Yeah, one of my friends gave the exact same reasoning behind it.

makes since, dont know why anyone would spend 35k on a car then drive it with no insurance.
I got pulled over twice in newport beach in the span of one block for a head light out on my 240sx. For some strange reason the first cop asked me if I had any nukes in the back??
It's got wide sexy hips what'd ya expect. I have a Fairlady Z emblem on the rear so in the summer when I drive it I find that some people will drive a little too close to find out what kind of car it is. I can see them mouthing "Fairlady Z what the hell is that". No really though as long as you are not speeding, racing or driving impared you should not have any problems with Police Officers. It also wouldn't hurt if you had a black and blue sticker on your back window.
