There is a 1/8th mile track pretty close to my house and I took it down there quite a bit.. I don't know why, I was bored and there were actually alot slower cars there, so it was fun.
Stock with 0 mods, it ran a 10.4 @ 69mph in the 1/8th.
With intake & header only, it ran a 10.2 @ 70mph.
With short shifter, engine dampener, intake, header, and crank pulley it ran a 9.9 @ 72mph
With all of the previous mods plus full 2.5" exhaust, downpipe I ran a best of 9.78, with an average of 9.82-9.85 @ 73mph
The mods are very cheap on the car.. For example, a full 2.5" stainless steel bolt-on exhaust & downpipe was only $320. That sounds like nothing compared to what they want for 350Z mods.

LOL DITO, had 06 tC and traded it for 03 Perl white touring 350z and omg I can't see my self driving anything else at this point(well tvr sagaris would be nice if I'd wont a lottery or something ). Honestly I love Z even more after driving it for a while, I can't believe you can get sports car as good as this for 26k. And with only few basic mods it feels like Vett or Viper(even beaten some c5 vett's). Heh and even with supercharger on my tC I still couldn't keep up with most sport cars (wrx, evo's, etc..).

The turbonetics kit is nice but it's overpriced.
There is a company called Dezod that makes a stage1 and stage2 kit for it.. Stage 1 has a T3/T4, I forget what stage 2 has. It has an intercooler and fuel management for about $3,800.. That's probably the best deal around. The car will run mid-high 12's with no LSD and a crappy 2.2-2.3 60' time, all on stock internals.

Hey! I am signing the paperwork tomorrow on a 2005 Silverstone Base with 16000 miles! WOOOO! I am trading in my 05 Scion TC...it was a nice car for the money, even with it's rattles and shakes...lack of a much needed 6th gear...lack of real hp... Honestly...being a 26yr old professional...it just didn't look right. Great car...BUT. I LOVE the Z and always have. BTW...I almost got that ZPI stage 0, but I decided to upgrade my car instead.
I almost forgot...I have already purchased my first mod...HA!
6000k HIDs (had to have them)
The car came with a quafe (sp) LSD... Definate bonus!
No signs of feathering...which was what stopped me the last time I almost bought a Z.
Next will be....wheels....I am thinking black....since I am on the darkside now!

Honestly I couldn't image driving that car from a stop with a turbo on it.. Even NA it revs VERY fast in 1st gear, on top of that it had terrible wheel hop (this is with a adjustable bracket from ingalls with was suppose to eliminate most wheel hop). Alot of people were actually swapping in a camry final drive to have longer gears when they were turbo charged.
I got some NT555's coming for my Z and they should be here on monday, it should be nice and fun from a stop.

yeah, first gear is horrible in the tC. I hated it! My front end would hop and jump all over the place and waste a lot of time and speed. I upgraded it to RWD, put in a 6spd tranny, took out the back seats, and threw in a 3.5 V6, and then I swapped the scion badges for Nissan ones. Now the wheels just spin instead of hopping.
