I heard something that the new vq dyno'd stock at 280 rwhp or around that area give or take if thats the case then it will run a 13.5 or even better with an awesome driver people with bolt ons dont even see that so who knows maybe with dr's or slick 12's on a stock Z. But this i just heard it so lets just wait.

Motor Trend ran the 07 G35 sedan 6mt 13.9@103 with only 200miles on the odometer. So with proper breakin and the Z being 150lbs lighter. It should trap 104-105 mid 13s. After the 1/4 it should really show the topend with the dual intakes.

you have to realize... there was a forum member that had a friend with an automatic G35 sedan take it to the track. he ran a 13.7 at 103 i believe... i mean if this means anything I believe the Z will trap higher and run alot stronger than the sedan. i predict under 13.5 possibly LOW LOW LOW 13'z with a good driver. but time will tell

My money's on a 5.4-sec 0-60 and a 13.9 1/4 mile @ Idunno what.

Now, throw on some 3.971's and the 0-60 might jump up to 5.0-5.1 sec.

Not sure what that'll do to 1/4 mile time. Like another poster said, maybe the higher redline will allow them to get down the 1/4 mile with no 2-3 shift. Lower FD will screw that up though.

you guys arent reading what i already posted... an automatic g35 sedan has already ran 13.7 at 103 or so.... those cars used to never be able to even crack 13'z before... what makes u think the 350z wont be significantly faster like the g35's are turning out to be?

I test drove an 07 6spd and it did not feel any faster than a stock 03 but it did feel heavier. Also I dont know what they did with the exhaust but the Z note is completely gone. The 07 sounds more like an Altima than a Z. I say wait for the Z34 in "09" and be happy you didnt buy an 07. If you dont already have a Z, then get a used 03-04.5 cheap and have a blast till 09.

The axle ratio are 3.7 both the auto and manual 07 g35 sedans. The 03-06 Z manuals have the 3.5.
