Hey you guys at Performance, can you slap that thing on a scale somewhere and tell us what it weighs? Preferably with a full tank of gas and fluids, since that'll tell us what the maximum is.
According to automobile magazine stats for base model:
DIMENSIONS:
Wheelbase: 104.3 in
Length: 169.8 in
Width: 71.5 in
Height: 52.1 in
Curb weight: 3335 lb

C/D TEST RESULTS:
Zero to 60 mph: 5.6 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 14.6 sec
Zero to 140 mph: 34.4 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 6.2 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 14.2 sec @ 99 mph
Braking, 70-0 mph: 160 ft
Roadholding, 300-ft-dia skidpad: 0.93 g

The engine sound seems unchanged, same exhaust note and all, now at 7500rpm i dont know, i dont want to do that to a poor Z engine thats not broken in yet.

AutoWay Nissan of Brandon over here had 3 07's a few days ago when I checked, I think the exhaust note sounds a tiny bit differnet IMO...

The colour is rather harking back to the 300zx dark blue, don't you think. Very nice though.

The next year ought to be pretty fun to see what tunners are going to do ECU packages to raise the reve limiter near 8K.

Could we see the 08' Z have an 8K redline?

To the OP,

Has the dipstick changed? Is it the same as the Maxima, EASIER to read? Please say it is!

Did they actually test an 07? I thought this was from the 2007 sports car comparo that had pics and stats from an 06, but were calling it an 07. we should see at least .2 sec faster to 60.

Yeah, from other pics, it is front and center and even appears to be a more of a straight shot to the oil pan. It takes at least 15 mins and 15 tries to get an oil level reading on my 06. Worst design ever And I have been wrenching on cars for 20 years...

But that's what happens whe you take a transversely-mounted (FWD) engine from the altima/maxima, rotate it 90 degrees and and shove it into a RWD car. Talk about half-assed. Dipstick in the 06 and older has to be the car's single worst feature

Oh ****, I'm not the OP...

Very reasonable price, I wonder how much it will increase whenever a redesign comes along. The dip stick change has to be their best decision.

That color and gold TE37's would look fantastic.

Eddie...please don't abuse her!
