Default I finally get the chance to wash my car today and...

After all this nasty weather we've had in the DFW area I finally got to wash my Z since at least 2 weeks ago and I go to wash off what looks like dirt from the salt on the roads. Turns out, someone decided to bump into my Z and leave with out telling me! ... After I saw that I didn't feel like washing the rest of the car, but I did reluctantly... here's some pics. It's not horrible, but it's enough to make me sick, and cringe everytime I get into my otherwise flawless 350Z. If I find out who did it... Any one know any good shops around the DFW area (around Plano)? Thanks for letting me vent.

PS: the lady who took my call at my insurance company previously owned a Red 2004 6spd 350Z as well, so she was real cool about everything and very helpfull.

here's some pics.

Nothing like I went muddin' or anything, just enough...With my car being black, and all the salt we had on the roads from the snow and ice the last few weeks, It was getting gray. I was really happy to get it all cleaned up, but with those scratches now I'm just pissed...

J and S paint in body in frisco.

Take Preston north until you hit main street in frisco. Left on main, and then an immediate left (maybe 50 feet after you turn onto main) by the bank. Its about 10 mins from park and preston.

they have the best paint and body guys i've ever worked with. he restored my 78 corvette. absolutely STUNNING paint and competitively priced. insurance loves them too cuz they are cheap.

The guy you wanna talk to is Jerry. he'll give you a free quote.

sorry to hear about your girl, hope everything straightens out. I found a bunch of rock chips on mine after i washed it. im glad the NTTA decided to put sand and deicer down, but its absolutely terrible on the paint.

I feel your pain. Last time I washed the car, I found my rear left bumper scraped too.

Bastards.

Ill call my step father tomorrow. His Escalade has been hit like 4 times, and whoever does his work is the best.

I wouldnt waste my time with claiming that on your insurance...you should be able to get it fixed for less than your deductible...

Never let the adjuster estimate your damage. Take it to a reputable body shop for a real estimate. I don't think it will be too much more, but I think it will be more than $277.

Be thankful that your outside water hose hasn't been frozen since November so that you could even find the damage. I'm hoping the coat of dirt on my car will keep the paint safe as long as no one rubs against it. I'll find out tomorrow as the hose thawed today. Bummer with your car, but they'll fix that up easily.

I know my rear tires are getting bad... What can I say, it's been 4 years since my last RWD car, so I missed it a lot!

I guess it's too hard for some people... They had to use my bumper as a parking sonar. "BUMP" "yep, that's as far as I can back up, now I should go forward"...
