6MT Handbrake?

take it to the dealer if not mechanicly inclined.
adjust tension yourself!! it should hold the car or there is no point in having one, nor will you be able to initiate a good drift with such lousy tension!

no kidding, its seems dealers can do more damage than they fix. My interior was trashed after taking it in for a simple repair. friggin idgets. If its simple and actually in the owners manual, i think you can handle it.
My handbrake was working marginally on medium inclines without the car in gear. I NEVER park it in neutral, but my daily stop at my mailbox is on a medium incline and I leave the car running in neutral with the handbrake on while I get out and grab the mail. I used to have to apply moderate tension, more than I thought, to prevent the car from rolling. But I had the car in at the dealership recently for its first oil change, and they adjusted it. The angle at which the tension is applied is the same (if that makes sense), but it grips like there's no tomorrow.
Pet peeve - when other people yank up on the handbrake until it's nearly vertical... way too much tension!! I only use as much force as is necessary, then just a couple of clicks more for safety. But better too much than not enough, especially when you've parked it on an incline.

Usually with the e-Brake you have to pull it way up for it to really do much... Before adjustment that is...

following this question does the car move or make a little brake noise when getting in or out the car when the e-brakes up?
mines seems to move a little in a slight hill is it time for new brakes?
