Default Question bout shifting

Sometime when im shifting gears it feels smooth. (the actual shift *** im holding) but other times it feels a little shaky or like is touching or not so smooth. Is this normal.?

Are you talking about the vibration you are feeling in your shifter?? If you ARE talking about that, yes it is normal for a rear wheel drive sports car to feel that way.

hmmmm... does it make any crazy noise or is performance affected? I would assume you are changing gears at low RPMs and you just feel the shifter rattling about... but you still might get flamed for this one...

Its kinda hard to explain but say for example im putting it fourth the moment its sliding in feels like is touching something other times it doesnt. Just wanted to know if it was normal. thanks.

I wouldn't worry about it man it is probably just a learning thing. If it really worries you that much take it back to the dealer, you are still under warranty. Your drivetrain is covered up to 60k, actually the 06's might be covered up to 100k.

When shifitng at higher rpms it feels different.

Go to a Z meet in LA and see if anyone will drive it for you if you are not close to a dealer. But my opinion is you are just not used to the feel of a 6 speed RWD sports car. Just an opinion though I could be very wrong.

Yeah thanks for the help. I think its normal but who knows ill drive it for now. When i take it for an oil change ill tell them to check out the gears.

It's possible he is not pushing the clutch far enough in or letting it out just a little early.
