Default Considering trading in Evolution 8 so that i can get a 350z and building it up

Right now i have a 2005 evolution 8 electric blue....its a nice car its fun but i want something different......right now im at about 340awhp....i have enough mods to make about 400awhp just havent done it cause im kinda of sick of the car.......i had a rsx-s turbo before.....and now i want something different soo i was considering a 350z ive always thought there were nice cars....they sound awesome compared to my 2 previous 4 bangers....and ive noticed some off you are pushing soo very nice numbers. Now im wondering how much power can these motors hold up without a build......and the other weak points of the car....ive searched around and found that alot of you do build them when you go forced induction or recommend it....but im curious what power level do you need to do it to run safely...i also noticed the transs dont like 3rd gear and they go sometimes and there some synchro issues.....anything you know and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot

also id like to know what you think about the trade think ill be happy with it or not?

If tuned right, with a good turbo kit people seem to be able to hold about 400rwhp but when you go much higher than that on stock internals, the reliability level drops.

From what i've read from the turbo'd guys, over ~400-430 RWHP is achievable without going internal. But think of it this way, it will def. be more expensive to make power with a Z compared to your evo. The evo responds much better to mods than the Z.

Well. As most here will tell you, get the Z. Then get the engine built out and go twin turbo with all the other changes that will be required to go along with that (exhaust, cats, etc). With all that you will not get bored as quickly with the car and then you can see the EVOs in your Rear View Mirror.

One thing to keep in mind. You will not be driving the Z in the winters you poor folks get up there. My advice would be to keep if off the street from the first time they salt the roads until May (maybe mid May).
