I take that back, they're in a way (no one get offended) like the 350Z crowd.
Some owners I can stand and get along with...
...then there's the others that hype their car up beyond belief, but that's mainly with the SRT-4 crowd, only know a couple Z owners like that (again, not saying anything bad, just what I've noticed)

There are a few things that really bothered me in the argument of Doug vs those other two guys. While I acknowledge that Doug is not really taking a side, I don't agree with the way he argues his point.

For one, Doug, you seem to disregard any information provided in a magazine and treat it as useless junk. However, information in those magazines are based on countless tests run by the magazine and accurate 1/4 mile times driven by professional drivers in the said car. Why would you disregard that information? Also, later on when that RSX guy posts a magazine's time stating the rsx-s ran 14.9s ... you then claimed vehemently that the car is a 14 second car. So magazines putting the car in the 15seconds should be ignored... but the one that has it as 14.9 is legit? Don't take this the wrong way, but reading that bugged me. Sure that number shows 14secs a possibility in a stock rsx-s, but outliers like that have negligible significance.

to the other two guys who i think stopped posting, good job posting information to back your points, but you do sound slightly like overzealous fanboys. I've forgotten what the original argument is but i agree with you guys, stock for stock, 350z is faster in a straight line that the rsx-s.

Wow, so I just read my post and I sound like a pompous ****. Umm, i don't mean to seriously offend anyone, but just couldn't hold back my words. and I still don't understand why people get so obsessed with going fast in a straight line... on a road course you get to go fast in a straight line and around corners! more is better?
