Cape May, NJ 350Z Gathering - Pics
Today kicked ***- that just about sums it up. About 50 350Z's drove in to Cape May, NJ from all over the state, NY, PA, DE, VA, MD, a few other states, and Canada. While the weather was pretty nasty in the AM, it cleared up, but remained cold later in the day.
A bunch of us met up on the Parkway for the drive down and obeyed all local and state driving laws. After stopping for a quick stop at the T&A Car Wash (actual name), we met up with the rest of the group at the Lewes-Ferry parking lot. After hanging out for a while we took a cruise through Cape May- it was pretty wild to see everyone's reaction when they saw around 50 Z's driving by- at one point we all pulled over on the side of the road for some pictures - this almost stopped traffic. After cruising around we ended up at the Bayview Resturant for Crab Cakes and Beer. This place actually does have a view of the bay - and a really nice one at that. During dinner everyone had a good laugh when over the P.A. system, they anounced "would the owner of the 2003 350Z please turn your lights off..." Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for mini golf (and it was cold out) so we all continued down Sunset Blvd to the beach. At that point, those of us who were still around took some more pictures, obeyed more local driving laws, and talked about everything Z.
It was great meeting (or seeing again) everyone - megatron, mac guru , bflemming, j's350z, Steve (I forget your screen name , thanks for driving all the way down from Canada, it was great seeing you again), zgirl, john (i forget your screen name too...), Jeff & Mendy, mike w/ the "nismo" kit, and of course my great friend Rey from the NJ Z Car Club (next time you're bringing the conv't). Who else am I forgetting...sorry about that...
Special thanks to Len Helbig IV for putting all of this together. I think everyone had a great time and really appreciated all of your hard work. Len is putting together a DVD with tons of footage from today's event. Don't worry Jason, the State Police probably won't be getting a copy... everyone else here should pick one up.
I'm uploading my pics now- will post the link in a few minutes.

Wow, that gathering looks like a Zaino salesman's dream come true !! Nice pictures. I live in Philly and would love to bring my new Daytona Blue Z to a gathering - how can I find out about these?

It was great meeting you all, Ethan84ae.
I didn't enjoy the ride up, because it was raining. It was great afterwards, when it cleared.
Do you know if you can take the ferry down to Ocean City? I believe there will be a meeting there sometime in May.
Thanks for the pics!! I had to reduce my resolution to post.
