Question Should I trade-in?

I have a 2001 Red SVT Lightning (5.4SC) Bought it new in 01 and now have 13,300 on the odometer. Love the truck, it now has a PSP Flip chip and intake kit, and 4 lb lower pulley added, along with a few other mods. Now seeing 12.5x's at 108-109mph in the 1/4 on my 20 inch Neeper Haas rims.

The question is...I love the looks of the new 350Z and was wondering if i can sqeeze that type of performance out of it. Anyone with a turbo or SC kit for the Z?

Keep the truck it's sweet. You'll spend a lot of $$ getting the Z in the 12's.

7-10k and the greddy TT will get you into 12s with good tires and driver. after that, all up to your money.

Depends on what you are looking for? I was going to buy the Lightning but the handling of the 350Z changed my mind. Even thought that is the sweetest and best handling truck on the market right now; a truck is still a truck. But yours look real nice. GOOD JOB!!!

I had a 99 F150 Lariat extended cab. Ford makes nice trucks. And yours is bad to the bone.

Keep the truck.

Besides, I've already had a guy in a Lightning blow my Z's doors off.

P.s.
I don't think it's advisable to advise everyone to buy a Z. Why just this past Tuesday I found myself sitting at a light, looking at another DB Z in my rearview mirror.

Thanks guys for all the nice comments and info. Its good to see some boards out there that treat people with respect. I am sorry to say that if you went on one of the Lightning boards like F150 online or something you guys would catch hell. I have never owned anything but Cobra's and Mustang GT's and now the Lightning, but I am learning to appreciate all cars including imports. It helps that I work at a Toyota Engine/Transmission plant I guess. LOL. Anyways, thanks for the unbiased input and keep those Z's shining...they are sweet !.

Spend about $1000 on a good Nitrous setup and you will be in the 12's.

Sh*T you will save enough money in gas getting rid of that thing, it will be cheaper to add TT and nitrous to the Z. Lol. What does that SVT get, like 8 mpg?
