Default $10,000

Ok here's the deal, if you were given $10,000 to spend on your 350z. How would you use the money.

EX:

I would buy the "Greddy TT Kit" - $6,000
Nice set of Rims - $2000
Audio System - $1000
Carbon Fiber Lip&Skirts - About $1000

$10k would cover your turbo kit, the install, a tune, and some of the engine internals and transmission upgrades that you would need to 'reliably' transfer all of that power down to the pavement. It's a cruel world we live in

You're going to need to whole $10K for the turbo man...you have to factor in:

1) Cost of kit
2) Cost of Labor
3) Cost of Tuning
4) Cost misc. items
5) Cost supporting mods like gauges and stuff
6) Cost of surprises

$10k is just enough IMO to do turbo. You don't have enough for other things.

10k wouldnt touch what you need to make a Greddy kit reliable. You people are living in a fantasy world.

you can't just roll on a nice set of rims without tires. add another 1k on your rim budget for your tires.

If I had to spend it then I would:

$3600 wheels
$1200 Drop on suspension
$800 Alignment correction kits and install
$1000 Exhaust
$2500 Stereo
$900 Spacer, Popcharger, TPs, etc.

I would not go turbo unless I had double the cost of the build.

first thought: 'what happens if I blow my engine'

if all you have is juuust enough to cover the install... don't do it.

10k (this is assuming stock car)

3k rims/tires
2k suspension (coilovers, camber arms, toebolts, sways)
2k bodykit
1k tuning solution (possibly less)
300 for exhuast ( high flow cats)
500 for intake (short ram and spacer)
rest for flywheel/clutch

or:

engine swap (lsx)
