*plus i dont want to void the warranty in the 06, by putting in the lsd. but i will look at both cars today and make my choice. the '05 has the side airbag option, and 15 months warranty.

You gotta consider too you'll pay more in depreciation for the new car, but buy off what you plan on doing to the car later mod wise.

ok did some more research and thank goodness i did. The '06 is out of the question now. Its a good deal for $27k base, but im learning that they have oil consumption issues. Forget that! So its the '05 for me; done deal. Also, it seems as though the '05 has the least problems besides the '07.

The 03's and 04's have tire feathering issues, the '06 has oil consumption issues. The only issue w/ the '05 i hear is maybe 1-2 gear grinding, but this is probably due to driver ignorance in shifting properly. Also i hear stiff handling and stiff clutch, but what do you expect? Its not a hyundai. thanks for all your help folks.

A 2006 is still at 27 grand for a base????? That's a ripoff! Why, when you can get a MUCH better '07 for the same price?

Sorry about the spelling nothingremains, i guess i was just too excited. I test drove the '05 today and bought it. I knew i had to have it. Nothing else to say. 23k w/ 17in chrome rims. Love it and it looks BALLIN!

First time ever driving a Z: Pulled in every gear- very strong. Shifts were crisp and quick, and just loved the feeling. Z's are so damn nice, even if its the base, im addicted. Will post pics during spring break.
