The RSX thing is a joke. I pity the fool who can't take a joke.
I like both cars. I have a 350Z, but sometimes wish I had a back seat, like when I have to drive two girls home. Oh, well. I can stack two high in the passenger seat if nessesary.

However, I still love the Z

Back when I bought my Z in 2003, I could have easily picked up for a ZG35 for around the same price. The G just didn't do it for me. Don't get me wrong, I love how it looks... but I just thought the Z looked sexier.

A true sports car the G35C is not. The G35C has some cute little gimicks, bells & whistles, but I value true performance over luxury any day.
I have an 06 6MT (sport included), and I feel its handling exactly the same as the 06 Z.
Also, I think its quite hilarious how some people state the G35 as a "fat pig", when the Z only weighs 150lb less.
Thats like 10 lbs in terms of a human body
Both are great...
You have to choose what you want:
Slightly better performance, and sacrafice some extra luxury and classyness? Get the Z.
If not, get the G.
Many people have gone from a Z to a G; you will not regret it. Just make sure you pick up the sport-tuned suspension package or modify the stock suspension.
Goodluck.

Also, you say that the Z weighs "only" 150 lbs. less but 150 extra pounds is still a pretty significant difference. Just ask any race car team.

BTW - 150lb s is 150lbs whether it's a "fat pig" car or human body weight. It's all the same, unless gravity affects human body weight differently than the car's weight. At least you can kick the passenger out, but you're stuck with car weight unless you start stripping uneeded stuff off like electric windows, metal body panels for CF, Air conditionioning, stereo, carpet, extra seats, etc...

You actually think, that a car more commonly seen on a track is a good indicator on one car's performance?
I'm not saying that the G35 over performs the 350Z, because it doesnt (weighs less), but that statement overall has to be one of the worst assumptions I've heard for a couple of weeks.
Let's leave it right here: It's a matter of personal preference. Atleast we can agree on that.
