I've driven both. My friend has a G35 Coupe it was what I was going to get before I drove the Z. The G is more luxury, coming out of turns it feels a lot heavier. Also the Clutch doesnt feel as heavy as it does on the Z. The Z is more agile and more of a performance car then the G. The G in my opinion is a sexy *** car, but so is the Z, when comparing the 2, I would say are you a driver or do you want to load people in your car? personally 2 Doors meant 2 people in my car.
My ex boyfriend had an '03 G35C. And I had an '04 Touring Z at the time. The G35C is a freaking sled (loose, sloppy, and spongy feeling) compared to my Z's (tight, crisp, responsive handling). A true sports car the G35C is not. The G35C has some cute little gimicks, bells & whistles, but I value true performance over luxury any day.
