So I was going through my 'glovebox' looking for the manual for my Z tonite. And I found the QRG, and other supplemental manuals, but my Owners Manual that was in my Z before my last 2 visits to the Nissan Dealership for a recall and an oil change is now gone.

So basically I want some advice, I dont wanna be out $40 bucks to by a replacement manual for something that was not my fault, I downloaded the manual online tonite... but I still want the Original Owners Manual in the car.

I was pretty pissed when I realised it was gone, it was in my car before those 2 last services, I am thinking of calling the svc dept and keeping my cool and asking wth happened to it, but its been a good 8-10 weeks since I was there.

I would just go ballistic if they blow me off, which is what im expecting.

Has this happened to anyone else before, I did a search but came up with nada.....

All I want is for the dealership to fix it

any help would be appreciated.

Dont Worry, they probably have a stock of them at the dealership, though they may not be your year.

ahh, this reminds me of the time the dealership lost my registration and insurance card for a few hours, boy was I pissed, I had it in a place they didn't need to be in :-/.

why not just go to a dealership, bring your wife or girlfriend (make sure she has a purse) and test drive either a new or used one. Just steal the manual and shove it in the purse and your good to GO!!!!!!

Just to let you know the dealerships dont keep owner manuals in the new cars. They give them to you when you have finalized the purchase. So you better find a used Z. Also dealers usually dont keep a stock pile of manuals either, unless they dont hand them out to customers. I work at a Nissan dealership, if you need a manual just email me. I can give you the phone number of the company that makes them.
