My wife (24, albeit I doubt age has anything to do with it), had this to say about my mere mention of some immediate-upon-delivery mods for the Z after we ordered it:

"Honey, it's been your dream car for 5+ years. Now it is 3 months away from sitting in the garage. Get for it whatever you want".

So I did. And haven't stopped yet.

She has got me a V1 for my birthday (later this month), but it won't be "presented" to me until the day.

 

lol just got my girlfriend a ring for our anniversary yesterday, shut her up for a couple hours while she was showing her friends. lol gave me time to be on this site

I don't spend a lot on modding, but its a hobby. So I'm not going to drop it because of one person.

I dont even mention it anymore. I got new RED seats, and didnt say anything. when she got in the car, she didnt even say anything about it. If she notices something new, she will always ask, how come I dont get anything...I say, because Its my god damn money I work my *** off to get.period.

My wife is not only the one that every time there's extra money, she say's "what can we buy for the Z". She's also the one that is working 60 hours a week so i can go to the racing mechanics school at infineon raceway. It's a super intense, full time school. She looked at me when I wanted to go and said "well I'll get a second job so you don't have to work and you can focus on school and building cars". It's like I won the lottery with this one!!! (except when she steals the Z to go joy riding and race all the kids in town)

 

My X wife really didnt mind, she knew i couldnt keep anything stock within a few hours of meeting her.

 

I'm too broke to mod either one All my money goes to keep myself in school and not homeless, lol.

 

my girlfriend is completely unselfish and loves the fact that i mod my car, she knows im in love with my car and SHE'S in love with it too, so the more i mod it, the happier it makes her, which is ****ing fantastic because thats all i do is mod the damn thing!

 

i'd drop that spoilied ***** like a bad habbit, she's not worth it. you can do better, all men can, no girl or woman is worth giving up what you love to do, and especially if you're spending hundreds of dollars on them with gifts every month? **** that, i wouldnt waste my time with such an ungreatfull girl.. my girlfriend is ecstatic when i bring her flowers, it's the thought that counts and girls that think just cuz you didnt lay out $500 for a new gold necklace but you laid out $2000 for new wheels that you are selfish? ***** we dont have to buy you anything so why dont you be greatful for what you do get and stop being a selfish self centered hooker.
