Nisha has no idea what I spend on the car. Although when I bought the bride seats she was overwhelmed because they say bride all over them, and her being my fiance she really thought it had something to do with her. I'm glad she has zero knowledge about car parts.

My girlfriend doesnt mind it when i buy mods for my car. She knows that its what i love and that its my money. Same as when she goes to the mall every two weeks to buy clothes. Of course i treat her good and buy her gifts on days like Valentines, Anniversaries, and Christmas but she returns the favor and gets me something for my car so it all comes out nice. Other than that money for dinner and trip to the movies or some form of entertainment keeps her happy.

 

i don't understand the guys that say they have to ask permission to buy stuff for their cars. unless you're using HER money... why would you have to beg?

Is it really their fault? Think about it from their point of view. When all these ***** whipped guys keep giving them stuff whenever they ask for something, it starts to mess with their sense of reality--they think that guys' role in life is to provide them with gifts. If they are acustomed to this lifestyle for a couple of years, any guy that doesn't provide them with gifts is considered to be "cheap" or "unloved". So don't blame them, blame the shmucks that made them that way.

Besides, as long as you don't date those kinds of girls, you're fine (You can sleep with them--just don't get into a relationship with them).

i'm a girl...that's not my point of view at all. i've never asked for gifts from boyfriends or guys i've dated... i can't even comprehend that kind of thing. asking for presents? how weak is that? if a guy wants to get me something it should be on his own terms for his own reasons, not because i'm jealous of some hobby of his... laaaame.
the idea of being dependent on a man the way a lot of women are/want to be makes me sick.

I spend way too much money on other stuff besides the Z, like eating out, going to the movies, GAS money, etc, etc, etc . . . but it's all my hard-earned money and I'm going to decide what I spend it on.

Any girl I date will have to respect that, I don't mind spending money on them, but just TRY telling me what I can or can't buy for my car, and it's GTFO b!tch!!!!!!!!!!!!

so new update on my girlfriend. she says that i should spend as much money on her as i do on my car because if i don't it means that i care about my car more than her. In my head I'm thinking (ok, gas costs me over $50 already so whenever i fill up i gotta spend 50 bucks on her and the alignment that is due soon means i gotta spend 100 bucks on her soon) So if I want a new set of rims...OMG!

Sometimes shes cool with what I do to the car but other times she gets a bit fussy when I start getting the mod bug. Fortunatly, I have my car pretty much where I want it right now so there isnt to much buying going on at the moment.

One day, I am going to go FI on it and I am sure she will start up on me again but we shall see...
