my gf likes the mods but does not appreciate the time/money put into it.

my nonexistent boyfriend/husband has no problem with my mods.

my parents, on the other hand, are a different story.

 

My wife helps me with all of my mods. She helped me install my Kenwood DNX 7100 with bluetooh and reverse camera. It works out well because she keeps me calm when I get pissed because something isn't going the way I thought it would. If she is not there I usually get pissed and end up breaking something.

 

I made a deal with my fiance that she would drive my ZR once a week or once in a while when she goes-out with her friends....

she still get on me about buying things for my car!!!...
here's example of our tipical "conversation"....

cj: sooo ups drop this off today....

z: awwsum...damn these ppl are prty quick!...

cj: is it something for me?....

z: (uh **** here we go)...don't start!

cj: I wish this....I wish that.....ya-da-ya-da-ya-da.....

z: let's go out for dinner, your choice!

cj: Fogo de Chow!!

z: ****

all this plus she get to drive my baby.....

my favorite thing she says:
"how come you never tell me to be careful unless I take your car-out?!"

 

it started out great at first, we played strip mod. if i got sumthing in, or made it work, her clothes came off piece by piece. if things or pieces didnt fit, mine came off (i kno its weird, but it was fun. ended up in the back seat of the evo, and the garage floor many times) but then it slowly turned from sexy and fun, in2 a chore almost 2 her. blah


the gf complains that i work on the car more than her. here it goes:

*gf: u dont even come by me anymore, every time a box comes in the mail, u completely 4get about me.
*me: and? it makes me happy
*gf: and i dont?
*me: umm, well u 2 cost about the same, but this doesnt complain when i drive my other cars. if i were 2 drive another girl, ud flip ****.
*gf: huh?
*me: exactly, c u in a bit baby.

i always offer he 2 help out, or watch, or even put in little things (like radiator plate, etc lol, but then she says no, dont mind me, u cn work on ur car while i sit here and do nothing. im fine w/ that.

then we had a little argument, that went sumthing like this:

*gf: u dont even care about me, ur an a$$hole
*me: ur a b!tch, were compatible <3
*gf: u think just cuz ur a guy, u can do wutever u want?
*me: well lets c, ur in my house, telling me how i should do things around here? im the head of this house
*gf: yea? well im the neck, and i can turn the head anywhich way i want...
*me: then i'll break ur neck, and u can c things from my point of view. *went 2 work on car*

At which point, I hope you responded back "What are you, nuts? I don't want to scratch up my hood!"

 

hahaha your fiance got good taste! I have been to Houston 10x times or more and I still haven't gotten a chance to go there!

Well...my most recent girlfriend and I dated for around a year...

1. She was just plain evil, but I loved the girl that she once was (which was a front I am assuming)
2. She hated cars...and also thought I drove too fast and spent too much money on anything NOT involving her.
3. She hated 350z's (said they looked like insects lol)

SO....

1. I dumped her...she was controlling anyway.
2. Had sex with her best friend...
3. Passed her on the highway about a month later with aforementioned hot friend in the passenger seat of my new 350z.

That my friends...is how you deal.

 

i know she's with me!!!....... hehehehe

still not digging the idea of her taking my baby for night-outing though....

 

if one could wish to have what your "nonexistent boyfriend/husband" has....
my buddy Dave's wife is into cars....
but I think she's spending too much time with my fiance because she's becoming more like my girl everyday....hehehe

Dave don't think it's funny at all though......

on the other hand, my parents are just glad that I'm on my own out of their garage and their credit-cards!!!!.... hehehehehehe

 

When I had the Z, my wife helped me install my AAM spacer and Injen intake. With my Eclipse she helped me with the exhaust. She herself had a modded 3000GT when we got married.

With the Evo she *****es at me when I'm just quick detailing the car. You can guess how she is with the modding.

I got rid of my Z in order to please my Girlfriend. Worst decision I ever made in my life. Stay true to yourself boys, I learned the hard way.

 

Wait... you sold it to please your girlfriend? Wow man... hope you got a ring for her when you did that...

 

So what did you replace the Z with? And why did she want you to get rid of it?

 

Hated the fact I spent money on it. Hated the fact I spent time tweaking it. Hated the fact I detailed it every weekend.

Replaced it with a boring FX35. I miss the Z every day. I really had it exactly were I wanted it. You don't appreciate how much fun that car is until it's gone.

 

VRT did a TT FX....................hehehehe
