HDK-

I live in Fresno and payed $500 over invoice for my CS enthusiast.
It was the end of the month so I think that helped a little. (Three weeks ago)

Also, my little brother bought one at the same dealership and payed $1,000 over invoice (beginning of the month, and his car had only been at the dealership for 8 days).

The deals are out there man.

Which dealers have quoted you this price?
I was talking to Stanford Nissan and they seemed like they'd give it away for 500 over invoice, but I'd have to take my check book in and really make sure...

Boardwalk Nissan said 2k off MSRP (~500 over invoice for enth?) is definitely in their price range.

Others that quoted me 1k off MSRP include Capitol Nissan, Dirito Brothers Nissan, and a few others.

There's this one guy...i forget which dealership (I could dig through my emails) that said he won't be "beaten" on the price and that he's willing to go low on the price to get my business. not sure if he's all talk or what...

if you're looking for 1k off MSRP, you can definitely find a place here. i'll be getting my Z as soon as i sell my old A4 (hopefully by next week!), so i'll let you know what kind of a deal i end up getting.

oh i forgot to mention...

i initially sent out emails using autobytel.com to all the dealers in the area. they contacted me back and quoted me anywhere from MSRP to 1k off MSRP. so i contacted the people who quoted MSRP and told them i got better offers...they said they'd match/beat the better offers, so on and so forth.

finally i made some calls to the people who sent me emails, visited them, talked to them about price and told them that adam locke from boardwalk offered 1500 off MSRP. they were willing to beat that...so i'm thinking i can get a Z for ~invoice now. so if you try hard, i think you can definitely find a nice deal out there.
