I just looked at manual, and it says 2006.5
I tried searching to see if there's any difference between 2006 and 2006.5
Does anyone know anything about this?

 

This question came up several months ago. I have no idea why the manual would say 2006.5?

 

i read a post by a member here and he stated he had a 2006.5 also.

i dunno wtf the difference is... maybe no oil consumption.

i know i got a regular 06. acquired november 2005.

i thought i heard that > jan 06 then u got a .5

 

The 2006.5 has Nissan advanced airbag system in standard and as far as i know that's the only difference

 

How about something like hood switch?
I was looking through 06 service manual and I saw hood switch by the passengerside headlight, but my Z doesn't have it. Is it because I have base or is there more difference than airbag?

 

New airbag is the reason for the 2006.5 designation. Owners manual states such.

OK,,, so how come mine doesn't have hood switch???
I know, not a big deal, but I just want to know why~!!!

 

The only Zs that I've ever seen with the hood switch was the 03 model. Is was supposed to be for the alarm. If I remember correctly, they didn't actually do anything.

 

yup thats what it says on mine i got a 6.5 with the naas (nissan advanced air bag system ) and AOCD (advanced oil consumption disorder)

 

thats ghey. i had to pay for airbags and others dont?

edit: actually nevermind cuz i ordered a base and they sent me the enthusiast model
