Default Compare 04', 05', 06' Touring

I am looking at getting a 2005 Touring model. Can someone please give me the pros and cons compared to the 04' and 06'. Please leave price and miles out of it I know those are big factors on making a decision I am just interested in performance and drawbacks between the models. Are the tire issues solved in the 05' models?

-thanks

Your questions are incredibly broad. For reliability data I suggest that you check Consumers Reports.

I took a look at the comparison charts on motortrends site and the 04' and 05' seem almost identical is this the case or am I not seeing something?

There are not a lot of substantive differences among the three years; I'd shop by miles and price. Get a mechanic's opinion when you find one you like.

I have an 05 touring with 22,900 Mi. on it. Had no feathering problems. Actually I had no problems at all. The stock tires only lasted me 15,000 Mi. I switched to Good Year Eagles. My two cents..

I have an '04 touring with 14k miles on it, replaced the tires at 11k but the stock Bridgestones weren't feathered at all. If you buy used, try to find one with different tires than the Potenzas. I put a set of Toyo T1-Rs on mine and I'm very pleased with them.
