Hey guys, the steering wheel of my 350Z is reeeaaaally stiff and takes quite some effort to turn (when doing a full hand over hand turn i HAVE to use both hands). I understand it's a sports car and all that, but it's unusually difficult to turn, and was wondering if anyone else has this issue. None of my friends have 350Zs so I can't really compare it to theirs. Any input is appreciated!
ps - im a pretty hefty guy too, so it's not a strength issue

If it is unusually hard to turn its more than likely a powersteering issue. start by checking your fluid level, should be able to use ur manual for that. Try sitting in your driveway or wherever, stopped, and turn the wheel, do the revs dip and then raise as the ECU corrects the idle?

+3 on the fluid. Either that or you need to do some bicep curls.

same with mine. Its not to the point of a bad powerstearing unit. but its unusually hard to turn takes alot of effort to spin with your palm. I was just harping on this issue with my friend a few days ago
