So, I got some BS front liesence plate ticket and a bud of mine has every possible tool/utility/item you could ever need. I call him up ask if he has any big *** zip ties so I can put this damn liesence plate on.

Yadda yadda yadda, we fix my liesence plate and he wants to drive it. I said ok because he helped me out.

We take the Z out and he gets on it a little bit and he was SO SUPRISED. He never thought they would be as quick as they actually are. (He drives a 98 cobra w/ mods out his *******, its running 12.4's). He also really liked how he felt like he was in a real sports car and how he felt sucked into the car like a cockpit almost. His next question was how much can I get 1 of these for!

I was so suprised he actually liked it, he has always been a pure mustang/cobra guy and everything else sucked. He really wants to actually go out and buy 1 now heh.

The best part though was when he took a corner and said it felt so much better then his cobra, he said his cobra could do it but it felt nothing like the Z. Saying the control and response he felt was just amazing.

 

go Z! i want to have an 07 trade my 06!

On a side note, i am not saying Cobra's suck. I actually came from a 00 mustang GT and thats how me and him became friends. His cobra is amazing, I love terminators and I give them respect where its due. It was just his view on ours cars.

And I am also in no way saying 03-06Z's suck and 07's are better. Just his view on driving my 07 =)

 

yeah that's y i like the z over my 2000 mustang gt. btw a 98 cobra is NOT a terminator. the 03-04 cobras were. it was the code name that that 03 cobra was given during development.

 

I have a '99 Cobra for sale, if anybody wants it. It's in Michigan.

 

i wish i would have waited for an 07...dont get me wrong i love my 06...but i do hate the dipstick

 

Not surprising at all. The Z IS a real sports car, the cobra is a muscle car.

i do believe 07's are better Z's, i want one but theres another car my heart desires so i'm sticking with my 03.

Everybody knows 07s are faster. Better, well, that's relative to how much you paid for it.

The guy has driven every damn muscle car I can think of. He was a huge cobra/mustang guy. He just owned a older cobra.
