Last days to buy a 2003???
Hey, I've been reading rumors all over the net about the last days to order a 2003 is sometime in June. Is this true??? I know this sounds outrageous, but I need to know. I'm planning to order my SS enth in July, unless someone has gotten a great deal in the Los Angeles/Orange County area sooner. Thanks for your input.

If you wait it can only be cheaper. they throw you that "all of last year's models must go!" baloney and eveything is cheaper
Then again, to order form Nissan you'd have to get an '04. Might be worth it considering service problems, you know?
Consider it. I know it doesn't answer or confirm your question, but I wanted to throw those things out there.

Don't know about the rumors, but I read your post on my thread about the Brick....
Pretty sure it's going to be discontinued next year, so I don't know how that would affect your decision to buy a 03 versus an 04. But I don't know what the new colors will be (liquid silver?), so you might want to check into that.
If you're a perfectionist you might want to wait for the 04, but even with the Bose replacement I had to do and my window streaks, I still am in LOVE with my car. Depends on how much $$ you're willing to spend, obviously.
So, SS or Brickyard, huh? I like my Brick b/c it changes colors depending on the light. But it's hard to keep clean. I originally wanted CS but now I'm glad I didn't get it - too many on the road (esplly in LA). I've started liking the flashier colors now that I've had it for awhile, so if I were buying again, I'd think about DB or LS. Good luck w/your decision!

hey, nice tat. Where is it, if you don't mind my asking? What did you replace your Bose with? and what about your windows???
You're right about the silvers...I was on my way to work and saw three of them. 2 CS, and a SS. The more pics I see of the Brick and DB, the more I like them.
Also, I hear the DB and RL are key magnets. I live in LA around UCLA and there are a bunch of drunken fools, and jr./sr. high school kids around. It's not the best idea to attract their attention.

you have any tats? i have 3 - the iris is on my hip. also one on ankle and one on right lower back/butt.
the Bose amp was replaced by Nissan under warranty. The CD player was adequate but the radio really awful - the amp improved that enough, but it is still not The Premium Bose System. Good enough though. But I wouldn't get a Touring if I were you.
And about being key magnets, DB and RL def'ly attract a lot of attention, but the MOST f**ked up car I know is dczoner's SS, who lives in Long Beach (another college area). It's been keyed on both side panels, one back panel, and debadged as well as de-Z'd in the back. I think the Z attracts attention no matter what color it is -- the more Z's there get to be on the road though, hopefully the less it will happen? Just don't call attention by parking in the boonies, don't park by SUV's or minivans. Aah, forget it, the best prevention is a garage, unfortunately.
p.s. a DB at night is HOT. the darkness gives it extra curves or something. a Brick at night looks basically black.

Nope, no tats......yet? You never know.
Thanks for the pics in low light. I was looking for those for a long time. The brick is REALLY starting to grow on me. You might not be the only one in the L.A. area anymore.
I'm not a flashy enough kind of guy for the DB or the RL, but the silvers are a bit common for my taste. I'm normally not this indecisive, but I do know brick is up there. I'll let you know how it goes.
I'm looking to buy a enth in a month or so, but still looking for a good deal/place to buy.
Tell you what, if I do get the brick, I'll come by so you can pose on two of 'em. lol

But that doesn't mean you can't buy an 03 after June, obviously---you would just have to settle for what's on the lot.

Those are Primax wheelz. They're ok, but I'm going to get new ones soon. I'll keep them though I think, but I want 18's now. I think 6 spokes....
