Default How many of you guys have front license plates?

I think the Z looks a lot better without one, but unfortunately, everything around my area has got one on...

Besides wondering how many of you guys have front license plates on, here's my second question:

If I take off the front license plate, how many holes will be apparent in the front bumper (2 or 4)? How noticeable will they be when I take off the front license plate holder?

I did a search and there are some bumper plugs that you can stick in there if some idiot drilled holes in the front bumper, but how will it look on a 350z? I searched for pics but did not find any...

Btw, this is the Z I am looking at:

23,9 for an 05 Perf...supposedly with bose and 28k miles. What do you guys think?

I had a front plate but i removed it and used bumper plugs. And now i have the Stillen bracket. I can remove the front plate in 30 seconds and reattach in just as little time. Its good for photo sesssions or cleaning the car.

I have a front plate, and I wanted to take mine off, but there were four holes and they were very noticeable. If the idiots at your dealer didn't use extra long holes to screw in the license plate, you should only have two holes.

Good luck...if you get the bumper plugs, you should post up some pictures.

My bumper wasn't drilled, so its been off since new. If all 50 states requires it, I would put it on, but not all do. The law has nothing on me, so I leave it off. Just today, I drove on the freeway feeder with a police car on the side of the road doing radar and I drove past him. Two months ago, a Department of Public Safety car drove in the opposite direction. As I drove by, he made a 180 and pulled behind my back. From the look of his eyes, I can see he was checking my plate. At the next green light, he drove 2 lanes to the right and went somewhere else because he found nothing on my record. I've driven through many speed traps, in front and in back of police cars, none has stop me for no front license plate- knock on wood. Main thing is do what is comfortable because it is illegal in most states and you can get pulled over.

you sir are a rebel....

i used to have one when i was in jersey. I had 2 holes in mine and they shouldnt be that noticebale on a black Z if you plug them up with something. Which theres plenty of things you can fab up and paint with a little touchup.

im in PA now, so no plate, but i also have a new bumper now and with the nissan burger shaved and the plate gone it looks 10 times cleaner

I don't have a front plate on either my Z or my Miata. I think the police leave me alone because I'm old.

When I lived in VA,l I got many fix it tickets with my Honda. I would never get pulled for not having a front plate, but once the officer did his walk around (x5) and measured my front bumper assembly. It was then that he would notice that I didnt have a front plate and compound my tickets!

So it's easy to take out the plugs as well?

Pics of front bumper? I want to see how noticeable it is.

+1 for Bumperplugs.com

I used them on a previous bumper long ago. They look clean and stock.
