Default Two Questions

Hi Guys, long time lurker and first time poster. I have been doing research and considering buying a Z for the past 3-4 months. I am moving on from the current RSX I have right now (feel free to laugh )

Anyways, here are my questions. The current car I am looking at is this one

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=21

From what you can tell, is this a Touring Model as I expect? Also, does the price seem fair for the mileage? I am going to attempt to talk down the price as much as possible. Just looking for what I can expect to talk them down to. Thanks and looking for any possible feedback

Yes, it is a Touring. Heated seats is the key. Can't add that later.

Price seems okay given miles & year IF a mechanic you pay says car is in good shape.

Yeah, my brother in law is a mechanic so I am thinking of dragging him to check this one out and see what he has to say.

Nice man, get a 350...trust me!!

I had a integra type R, JDM swapped engine and front end ect..., and loved the car. That ended up getting stolen and I got alittle 240sx hatch...loved that thing to death....nothing like RWD even though it had 65 less Hp then the ITR. Then i got the tC, modded it and dust type S's...cough not bragging....but 2 weeks I started going on the Forums, and made up my mind to get a Z33. I was looking in the AutoTrader, recycler & craigslist. Then I figured it was worth the warranty and to gave me a piece of mind that no one was racing it hard....I wanted a new one so I picked up my 07 Enthusiast last Wednesday and have never been happier..

good luck on the search!!

Hey, thanks! I've been looking for an alternative to autotrader, cars.com and craigslist. Never knew the "recycler" existed

*edit: crap. the recycler just forwards me to cars.com how much did you get your enthusiast for?

Go for it. I paid 20,500 for an '04 touring model with 32,000 miles. mine looked about the same except it had aftermarket springs, the fairladyz emblem, and 18" 6-spoke wheels.

yours is a year newer with 10k less miles. i'd say it's a fair price. I would check the carfax, though and make sure there are no accidents on the record.

That isn't the touring because of the wheels, touring has the spoked 18's, so that's either base or enth. almost 23 seems kinda high if it isn't the touring model.

23 does sound high for a base model Z with that mileage. You can prolly get an '06 base for around 26.

i'd prolly offer them 19 or 20. the mileage is pretty low so that's good.

geeze, you could get at least an 06 6mt with similiar miles for that price in IL... I say keep looking. You will want MT. Even if you have sold yourslef now that you don't, you will still want it later.

If you like SS thats great but if its not your favorite color in the car don't just settle. Wait to find the color you want too because that makes all the difference in the world later on. It took me 5 months to find my DB Z at the right price, trim, and mileage

I picked up my '06 Enthusiast with 6K miles and a 100K/7yr warranty for $25,999, so you can definitely do better than $25K for a base '06.

But yeah, definitely have them work on the price a little.

Really appreciate all the feedback from everyone so far (Even people saying the RSX is faster =D )

I think I am going to keep looking also. I've considered a MT car as well and I will have to take it into consideration. Any suggestions where to look besides autotrader, cars.com, ebay, etc?
