Any dealers offer discounts on parts?
While owning my own car, my old forum had a couple dealerships that offered us 20% off all parts for being a part of the forum. Do we have a similar deal with any nissan dealerships in the US?
There are usually two or three levels of pricing (retail, wholesale, extra discounted). The wholesale prices are generally just for garages and businesses that have an account, but some parts departments will extend wholesale pricing to the public.
After they provide you with a price for a given part, ask the person if they can do better on the price.
You may have to call around as some will be happy to offer a lower price (if you ask) and some will not.

West Covina Nissan (a sponsor here). They are a pleasure to deal with, and if you can find prices elsewhere lower than theirs' it would mean something is very wrong.
Case in point: I needed an OEM part some months ago that local dealership wanted nearly $800 for. I pinged Jeff at WCN and he offered it at $224. How they do it, I don't know, but they do, and Jeff/Jen are an AWESOME team to work with.

And pray tell, what this has to do with this thread?
Thanks for the recommendations. I ended up going with jeff at west covina and he totally lives up to his reputation. I had a long list of parts to order and he sat on the phone ignoring all the other calls to get down everything I needed.
