does the 2007 Z have the cvt transmission? I heard that all nissans have the cvt now. a friend of mine, who is a sales manager told me that, because of the new cvt, the 07 350z sucks. thats exactly how he told me. sucks.
just wondering.

any 07 owners out there?

your friend is a tool. I work for nissan. all the nissans have continously variable valve timing but he's getting it confused with the xtronic cvt gearless transmission that uses a belt in which there are no gears and there is no gear hunting. The Z does not have that. most of the altimas(coupe also), versas, and sentras have it.the murano has it standard. it's standard on most of the altimas, versas, and sentras. xtronic not available on the titan, xterra, z, pathfinder, or armada.not sure about the quest...not one buys that so i don't know much of it.
